MUSEO DE LAS CIENCIAS PRÍNCIPE FELIPE (SCIENCE MUSEUM)

Information: 902 100 031 Opening: From 10.00 a.m. to 8.00 p.m. Saturdays until 21.00 p.m.

The Museum was designed by Santiago Calatrava and is an open, dynamic and interactive experience. The three main floors each cover an area of 8,000 square metres. ‘Technopolis’ occupies the ground floor, ‘A Window to Science’ is on the first floor and ‘Shapes and Structures’ takes up the third floor. These three areas are complemented by the ‘Legacy of Science’, on the second floor, where the ideas of Nobel Prize winners Severo Ochoa, Santiago Ramón y Cajal and Jean Dausset are displayed. The museum is involved in collaboration and exchange with the world’s most important science centres such as those in San Francisco, Chicago, London and Paris. It is an interactive pioneering centre, where learning is entertaining, and we can discover the contribution of science and technology to the improvement of our standards of living.
